If you've been collecting racing cards for some time and looked for them on Ebay, you'll know what I mean when I say stick and ball collectors are out to lunch.  This one, for example, is so outrageous that it's actually quite funny.

This auction is for a Danica Patrick autographed sheet metal card of which only 25 were made.  The card is numbered 07/25, with the 7 being Danica's rookie car number.  The hefty price tag of $4,999 is what adds humor to this auction.  And, if you look at the seller's id, baseballcardstoreonline, you can see this seller obviously thinks Danica has a superb reputation in the racing world.  The fact is, she has been less than spectacular this season in either IRL or NASCAR.  So, baseballcardstoreonline, good luck with that one.  This is an auction I am going to continue watching!
