After dabbling with SMF on another web site, I decided that it was likely the best possible CMS to use for The Racing Collector. As some of you who have been around for a while know, I was trying to build a system from scratch. While I got a good start at it, there are just so many hours in the day and I haven't been able to develop it much further. I hate putting things off and I really want this site to be popular. So, I made the decision to halt my development and move to an SMF-based site. I look forward to incorporating the trading list and price guide code I developed into SMF. All of the information is still there, I just need to move it over and get it talking with the SMF code. However, I'm all about providing a positive community for users to meet, talk, and share information. And, that is exactly what The Racing Collector will do!
